Donna McKinnon is a family nurse practitioner who has been in the healthcare industry for over
30 years. Her focus is on providing compassionate care with an emphasis on her patients’
individual needs and goals.
Donna completed her Associates degree in nursing in 1992 and worked as a registered nurse,
primarily in acute care settings. She then obtained her forensic nursing license and also worked
in the area of forensic nursing since 2012. She completed her BSN degree in 2014 from Grand
Canyon University and then completed her graduate degree with a specialty in Family Practice
in 2018 from Frontier Nursing University.
Donna is passionate about providing care both domestically and internationally. She has
traveled to Guatemala with a medical organization to provide vaccines, she has volunteered at a
youth camp for Children with serious and life threatening disease and volunteered at a clinic for
underinsured high risk populations.
In her spare time, Donna enjoys being outdoors and activities such as running and yoga, and
spending time with her family.
